Public meeting of the Camp Croft Restoration Advisory Board on Thursday, Feb. 7, 6:30 p.m. at the Spartanburg Marriott. The meeting is hosted by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers meetings to exchange information on the status of federal funding for munitions cleanup at the 7000-plus acre Camp Croft State Park in Spartanburg County. Public use of the park is limited because unexploded ordnance remain in the park.
On Jan. 27, the Spartanburg County GOP Executive Committee approved a Resolution to Support Federal Funding to Remove Unexploded Ordnance from the former Camp Croft in Spartanburg County. The resolution was sent to the State Party for their consideration and support.
